Typography, with its ability to communicate knowledge across cultural and geographical boundaries, has brought together people and cultures from all over the world. The Korean writing system Hangul has revolutionized the way the Korean language is written and played a crucial role in the country's cultural and historical development.
The textbook "Hangul Scriptual" delves into the fascinating world of South Korean and bilingual typography, exploring the unique history of Hangul and its importance in today's globalized society. It also explores the challenges and rules associated with the design and use of Hangul in a multilingual context. So whether you are a designer, a language enthusiast or anyone interested in typography and Korean culture - the book offers an insight into this relevant and timely topic.

Exhibition and Extras
The book was in display during "Winter Werkschau 2023" at our Campus in Münchberg. This exhibition was promoted with a poster for each project. I decided to also create a handout that visitors were able to take with them. It includes a short summary of the contents explained in the book and was wrapped in an envelope, which I sealed with a self-designed sticker. The little give-away was made complete by a photocard of King Sejong.
